Why M.E.G.A.? Why Now?
Approximately 60 years ago, a movement started to remove God from our schools, communities, entertainment, institutions, government, etc.
Since then, there has been a steady increase in broken families & fatherless homes, in depression, in crime, in chaos, in depravity, in addictions, in suicides, in homelessness, in lack-of-respect for authority & for life, in division and in hate. Coincidence? Not at all.
There are many worthy leaders and followers of God. They are devoted to God and His values. They bravely live their faith openly. We are all grateful for their dedication. But they are all still human – mere mortals.
Our battle today is not against individuals, but against the darkness in this world and the forces of evil. And, even with many faithful leaders and followers, God is the only being in the universe powerful enough to overcome the demonic influence that has taken over our society.
Thankfully, we are seeing hopeful signs of Godly revival today. Television and movie productions about the virtues of Godly values are attracting larger and larger audiences. Prayer vigils are growing. Competitive athletes are publicly giving God credit for their successes. Churches based in genuine Godly values & His principles are bringing in more seekers. But we can do more, with God walking along side of us.
What would happen if MEGA millions of people who believe in genuine Godly values came together and displayed their beliefs and values in public? What would happen if MEGA millions of believers in Godly values prayed all at once for the healing of their nation? What would happen if MEGA millions of believers in Godly values supported laws and leaders who also practiced those genuine Godly values?
